JJ and Mr. Smalls kick ass!
I live in Florida and haven't been to Mr. Smalls, but every show I've heard on the archive from there sounds like it's an awesome venue. I've seen them at about 10 different venues, and the vibe up there sounds a lot like what we get at Tampa at Skipper's Smokehouse. This is a kick-ass show ya'll. Be sure and give extra listen to How Jr. Got his Head Put Out, and the encore Harp & Drums. They jam these out to heaping helpings of funk/swamp blues/soul that separates them from anybody.
There's a new fansite: www.mofrofans.com to check out too.

Nicely done!
I was at this show...my first Mofro show.
My feeling was that the sound was way different from different areas of the old church. You seem to have set up in just the right place. Best sounding Mofro show on here in my opinion.
I was disappointed that they didn't do the sun is shining down but there'll be other Mofro shows in my future I know it.

FRONT ROW!!!!!!
Coming out strong on the mouthpiece, J.J. opened the show boldly and beautiful. The whole band rocked till there were sweat beads running on the floor. And, boy can J.J. shake it!!!! Country ghetto was in mind the whole next day!!! Peace out to you J.J.!!
